What Are Small Groups?
Small groups go by many other names.  Kinships, life Groups, and Home Groups to name a few.  These groups meet at times other than on Sunday mornings when the larger community gather for services.  Sunday mornings are great to get to know names and have those 5 minute conversations.  Small Groups are where relationships (sometimes life long) and community really thrive in the making of a healthy church.

We believe Small Groups are the best way to provide real community, discipleship and ministry.  Small Groups are the place to know others and be known ourselves, to care for one another, to worship God, to give and receive prayer, to study and apply the Bible to our daily lives, and to simply have fun.   We meet informally in groups of six to fifteen people during weekdays or week nights.  Each group usually lasts between 1 1/2 to 2 hours and ends with free time to usually eat and talk.
Why Should I Join A Small Group?
Church on Sunday mornings are a great way to meet new people and see many familiar faces all at one time.  Church is always so busy and although we get to say hello to a lot of people, the conversations usually ends there.

We are created with a need for relationship, not only with God, but also with other people. Small Groups are truly at the heart of the way we do church at Vineyard Community Church.  Relationship is all about RISK but don’t forget about the REWARD part.  Small Groups are truly a gift of relationship and where lifelong relationships start.  Both with Jesus and with each other.  Try one today!
